An exciting new Version 8 course is now available at Krohn Enterprises, Inc.. This course is intended as an alternative to the 1200 page Redbook-based Version 8 Transition class, CG381, available from IBM IT Education Services. (NOTE: Krohn Enterprises, Inc. is authorized to teach the IBM class, CG381, if you prefer that course). KE380, "The How and Why of DB2 Version 8", will focus on planning issues for migrating to Version 8. Performance considerations will be an important part of the course, as well as an overview of the new functions available in Version 8. It WILL NOT be a detailed technical manual - the Redbook already does that very well. It is available NOW!.
